CareLineLive has announced its acquisition of the business behind CareForIT and Ulysses (UDMS).

CareLineLive was advised by Polestar Corporate Finance (Richard Hall) and CMS (John Finnemore). Financing for the transaction was provided from a recent successful investment round with Oakglen.

In an increasingly regulated social care landscape, home care agencies need to meet and exceed ever more advanced standards. CareLineLive’s acquisition makes technology-driven quality home care provision easier to deliver for an increasing number of customers and local authorities. CareLineLive’s total number of home care customers will increase to 600, managing well over 15,000 carers in total across the UK, Ireland, Jersey and Australia. These customers range from the very smallest agencies to large scale enterprise customers, and include multiple local authorities and NHS Trusts.

Working closely with the home care agencies and industry, CareLineLive provides home care operators an innovative, easy to use, all in one cloud-based homecare management system. Its award-winning platform leads to increased efficiency, capacity and compliance through digitising workflows, automating procedures, and decreasing overheads. The investment round secured earlier this year set the pathway towards this acquisition.

“We’re very pleased to welcome CareForIT and Ulysses staff and customers to the CareLineLive family,” commented Josh Hough, CareLineLive Founder and MD. “This acquisition will ultimately help to create one of the strongest all-in-one home care management platforms in Europe which aims for the highest customer service and satisfaction. We look forward to the journey ahead, as we continue to drive quality standards in home care in the UK and beyond.”

CareLineLive, which already supplies to the UK, Ireland, Jersey and Australia, is NHSx certified as a Digital Social Care Record (DSCR) assured supplier, in addition to achieving accreditations such as NHS Data Security Protection (DSP) Toolkit, Cyber Essentials, ISO 9001 and 27001.

Richard Bedford, who stays with the acquired business as Sales Director, added: “We are excited to join with CareLineLive and help drive quality care for agencies and their clients. For CareFor IT and Ulysses customers it is very much business as usual on the platforms they are familiar with, with access to the wider range of tools and resources that CareLineLive offers if and when they would like to switch over. CareLineLive’s comprehensive and intuitive platform, and its accreditations with NHSX, NHS Digital, Cyber Essentials and ISOs will bring innovation, compliance and many more benefits to our customers. These new tools and capabilities will further support our existing customers, and we look forward to the opportunities it brings.”

Richard Hall commented: “We see CareLineLive as a stand out health-tech performer in the domiciliary care space, exhibiting strong organic growth and now, with the backing of Oakglen able to augment this through a targeted program of acquisitions. We are excited to assist them as they continue on this journey in the UK and overseas”.

On September 1st 2023 MAS Networks Ltd, a subsidiary of MAS Technicae Group (International) Ltd, also known as ‘CareLineLive’ acquired C4 Ulysses Ltd, the business behind CareFor IT and Ulysses (UDMS). The acquisition amount is undisclosed.
